Installation

OExport is a library of non-visual classes, i.e. they are not installed as design-time packages. You only have to add the directory with source files to your Delphi library path. If you want to, you can also compile the supplied packages.

Here is your step-by-step installation procedure:

1.) Add OExport path to your library.

TRIAL package: - please mind your Delphi version!
For Delphi XE4 32bit, the path is:
    {INSTALLATION DIRECTORY}\OExport\DelphiXE4\Win32\
FULL package: the path is the same for all Delphi versions:
    {INSTALLATION DIRECTORY}\OExport\units\

2.) Add OXml path to your library.

  The path is:
    {INSTALLATION DIRECTORY}\OXml\units\

3.) Run the demos from your Delphi IDE.

  You find the demos in:
    {INSTALLATION DIRECTORY}\OExport\demo\source\

4.) Run the compiled FULL demo

If you haven't purchased the source code and you want to test all
features of OExport or check the speed, run the precompiled FULL demo.
You find the EXE file in:
    {INSTALLATION DIRECTORY}\demo\compiled-fulldemo\

Please note that in order to use OExport, you have to add OExport, OExport_Vcl and OExport_VclForms to your unit clause if you use Delphi VCL or Lazarus.
If you use Delphi with FireMonkey, add OExport and OExport_FMX to your unit clause.

Furthermore you have to set the OExportDateFormat and OExportTimeFormat global variables. Please see the Getting started page for more information about creating a new project with OExport.

Important notice

The FREE/TRIAL package contains OXml already. OXml is licensed under CPAL 1.0.
